Welcome to Makers and Minds ("Community," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of all online and offline spaces, services, and interactions provided by Makers and Minds. By joining, accessing, or participating in the Community, you agree to abide by these Terms.​

 

1. Community Purpose

Makers and Minds exists to support, connect, and elevate creative professionals, event visionaries, and strategic thinkers. It is a platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and professional development. Participation in this community should always align with this mission.​

 

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to participate in this Community. By accessing our platforms or attending our events, you affirm that you meet this requirement.

 

3. Code of Conduct

All members must adhere to our Community Guidelines. By participating, you agree to:

  • Treat all members with respect, regardless of background, experience level, identity, or beliefs

  • Engage in constructive dialogue and avoid harassment, hate speech, or discrimination

  • Avoid spamming, unsolicited promotions, or aggressive self-promotion

  • Respect the confidentiality of private discussions or shared content

  • Offer value before seeking to gain

 

4. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you post, but by sharing it in the Community, you grant Makers and Minds a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and share that content within our platforms and for promotional purposes.You must not share or reuse others’ content outside of the community without express permission.

 

5. Confidentiality

Some spaces within the Community may include confidential conversations or proprietary content. Members agree not to record, screenshot, distribute, or disclose such content unless explicitly authorised.

 

6. Enforcement and Removal Rights

Makers and Minds reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or permanently remove any member from the community, platform, or associated events if they are found to be in breach of these Terms or the Community Guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, conduct deemed discriminatory, harassing, abusive, unethical, or otherwise detrimental to the safety, integrity, and intended purpose of the community. Decisions regarding enforcement are final and may be made without prior notice.

 

7. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. You will be notified of material changes, and your continued use of the Community after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

8. Termination

You may leave the Community at any time. Makers and Minds may terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or violate community expectations.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

Makers and Minds is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your participation in the Community. All content and interactions are provided "as is" and we do not guarantee outcomes, job opportunities, or business results.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.​
